We are always interested in hearing from the families that we serve. Please take a moment to let us know how well we served you in your time of need. We very much appreciate your feedback.
This is the second time I have used them. Very understanding, professional and very easy to work with. I highly recommend Lafferty & Smith.
We want to thank Thomas and Tanya for their love, caring, support and most of all compassion. They made this "odd" transition so smooth and stressless. Their personalities were enjoyable for us during this tough time.
I had worked years ago with Lafferty and Smith when a loved one passed away, and needed their help again in 2025. Just as before, they were professional and caring. My main contact was funeral director Thomas Eyre. I very much appreciated not only his knowledge of the process, but also his responsiveness. I highly recommend them.
Lafferty & Smith Colonial Chapel provided outstanding care and support to our family after the passing of our mother, just as they did 10 years ago when our father passed. Thomas and Tanya were a pleasure to work with—compassionate, professional, and incredibly helpful during a difficult time. They guided us through every step of the process and even helped us use an insurance policy that had been purchased many years ago. Their experience and kindness made all the difference, and we’re deeply grateful.
They are really attentive and kind. My mom purchased a funeral plan in 2008. She passed away 7/4/25. They honored the cost at which she paid in 2008 (about a 2500+ difference) without saying a word about "not making much money on this you know" as stated in previous reviews. Thomas, the funeral director, is very personable and empathetic. Although what my family wants versus what my mom paid for is different, they handled it very professionally.
Thanks to Lafferty and Smith for offering pre-planning. On 01/25/2025 Melinda Freeman, licensed Advanced Planning Specialist, helped us set up cremation services. She professionally explained necessary forms and costs and patiently answered all of our additional questions. We never felt rushed or pressured in any way. The overall experience was beyond our expectations. Bill and Carol
