Violet Florence Miles - Violet Miles passed away in Sonoma on June 15, 2007. Loving wife of the late Francis Miles. Devoted mother of Al Wells and his wife Lorraine of Rohnert Park, Carolyn Davis and her husband Laurin of IL, and Patricia Leigh and her husband Jerry of FL Dedicated grandmother of 11, great grandmother of 30, and great great-grandmother of 6.
Adored sister of the late William Bowman.
A native of Petaluma, Violet graduated from Lowell High School in San Francisco. She was employed by AT&T as a staff asst. for over 37 years. Her hobbies were knitting, going to Maui, eating gourmet foods, and living life to the fullest. She was the past president of the Petaluma Womenâ??s Club, a volunteer at Petaluma Valley Hospital, a member of the Tea & Garden Club and a parishioner at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
