Victor Bettencourt - Passed away May 14, 2007 at the age of 84 in Petaluma. He leaves his wife, Maria Lucilia Bettencourt of Cotati, brother Alec Bettencourt of Santa Rosa, and sister Dorothy Maddalena of Petaluma. Predeceased by his parents, Mary and John Bettencourt and his brothers Joe and Louis Bettencourt. Survived by his stepdaughter, Basilia Cardoso and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Petaluma native, Victor worked as a cattle dealer. He was a member of the Petaluma, Novato, Sebastopol, Benicia, and Vallejo Holy Ghost Societies and Santo Cristo Society.
