Rosemary died on February 21, 2025, at the age of 101 in Santa Rosa, California. She was born in England, the youngest daughter of the late Captain Julius Bach, MBE, RN, and the late Edit Bach. Her survivors are her nephews Christopher, Lester, Geoffrey and Richard, and several great-nephews.
Rosemary was a fashion model for many years in England and America. She was renowned for her elegance and style. She loved to dance before arthritis incapacitated her, and to work in her garden, as well as volunteering for VNA Hospice. Rosemary chose her epithet to be “There is some corner of a foreign field that is forever England”. (Rupert Brooke)
In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to Sutter VNA Hospice or Sonoma County Humane Society, or a charity of your choice.
Services will be held at noon on Friday, April 11, 2025, at Kenwood Community Church, 9637 Channing Row in Kenwood, CA. A Celebration of Life will follow at 1:00 pm at Kenwood Depot, 314 Warm Springs Rd., Kenwood, CA.
