Ronald Sharon Scott, 92, passed away on May 29, 2026, in Sonoma, California.
Ronald was born on July 1, 1933, in Sebastopol California on his aunt’s apple farm, to his parents, Louise Morelli Scott and Charles Scott, both of whom preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Loris Scott.
Ronald graduated from Santa Rosa Junior College with an associate degree in education. He went on to build a 40‑year career as both a real estate broker and a bartender, earning a reputation as a skilled mixologist and a natural people‑person. Ronald also served proudly in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. A lifelong San Francisco 49ers faithful and devoted Golden State Warriors fan, he followed his teams with unwavering enthusiasm throughout his life.
Ronald is survived by his children: Bryan Scott and his wife, Denise; Darin Scott and his wife, Monique; and his daughter, Ronda Scott. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Winona Sherer and her husband Matt; Jami Holt; Kenneth Scott; Kara Jacuzzi and her husband, Nicholas; Alex Scott and his wife, Becca. Ronald leaves behind his great‑grandchildren Bentley, Coralie, Sawyer, and Haze, who brought him immense joy.
A private family service will be held. Ronald will be laid to rest beside his beloved mother in Occidental’s Druid Cemetery. Lieu of flowers please consider a donation to Hospice by the Bay or your favorite charity.
