Robert R. Maddalena - Passed away in Petaluma, CA, April 25, 2007, beloved husband for 60 years of Emma Maddalena. Loving father of Michael Maddalena and his wife, Diane of Sebastopol, Carol Maddalena of Eureka and Ron Maddalena and his wife, Cyndi of Petaluma. Adored grandfather of Rosie Maddalena, Emilee Bundesen, Michael Maddalena II, Jesse Gray, Daisy Lowe, Nick Maddalena and Kara Maddalena. Cherished great grandfather of Austin Gray and Isaac Lowe. Loving brother of Ilene Gillespie of Santa Rosa and Albert Maddalena of Napa. Brother-in-law of Fritz and Barbara Lanker and Claire Wengen all of Petaluma. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A native of Petaluma, CA. Age 83 years.
Mr. Maddalena was reared and educated in Petaluma and attended USF and Colorado State, where he played football and baseball. He served proudly in the U.S. Navy during World War Two in the Pacific. He was also well known as a member the Petaluma Leghorns.
At the request of Mr.Maddalena, there will be no services. The family prefers memorials be made to M.O.M.S. ( Mothers of Military Service Members), P.O. Box 809, Geyserville, CA 95441.
