Robert Stephen "Boyd" Boyd, Jr.

Robert Stephen Boyd, Jr. was born on March 21, 1959 in Huntington WV and died on October 17, 2023 at the age of 64 in his beloved Santa Rosa.   Steve was a talented performer, well-known in the Santa Rosa area as ‘Boyd’. He loved singing and composing. He was a poet, a troubadour, a person who brought people together. He loved his life and was thankful for every single day. We will forever grieve the loss of his beautiful spirit, and the love he freely sent into the world. He was blessed with many friends who loved him dearly for his wit, his kindness, and his generous personality.  Steve is survived by his three sisters, Robin Boyd Fetsch, Pamela Boyd Pellegrino, and Ann Boyd Bryson, and his seven nieces and nephews: Derek Fetsch, Christopher Fetsch, Katy Fetsch, Laura Mason, Robert Marshall, Jennifer Nelson, Casey Westling, and Kelley Bryson and numerous second cousins, nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life for Steve will be held at Druid’s Hall in Santa Rosa, CA on Sunday, March 10 from 2-5 pm.   In lieu of flowers, the family encourages friends to donate to small musical and drama groups in their communities to honor Steve’s love for the arts.
