Rachel "Rae" Margaret (Harding) Fallon

Rae, 95, passed away on July 9th at home in Santa Rosa after a long illness.  She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, James (Jim) J. Fallon and her son-in-law, Bill Duncan.  She was cherished mother of Kathy Duncan of Valley Ford, James (Jim) T. (Alayne) Fallon, Julie (David) Del Curto of Santa Rosa and adored grandmother of Natalie and James Del Curto.

Rae was born to Maybelle and Forest Harding, reared and educated in Berkeley, CA.  She took pride in her secretarial work for Colgate.  Rae married Jim in 1952.  They moved to Santa Rosa in 1956 where Jim started Northern California Glass Co. which he owned and operated for 30 years.  Rae assisted in the office in the company’s early years.

She was a member of the Santa Rosa Women’s Bowling Association, JACL and Santa Rosa Druids #121.  She delighted in solving crossword puzzles, was an avid reader, loved playing slot machines and was a sports enthusiast.  Rae was an avid 49er fan and held season tickets for 55 years.  She attended her 1st Super Bowl in 1982.  She was also a season ticket holder of the Warriors, Raiders and SF Giants.  Rae derived pleasure spending time on cruises and being in the company of her close friends and family.  She especially enjoyed her beloved grandchildren.

Rae’s family wishes to thank Dr. Wayne Keiser, Dr. Frederick David, Dr. Jim Trapnell, Gale Watts, Providence Memorial Hospice and First Light Home Care (Susan, Sarah and Esther).  All of their respective talents, dedication and compassion were so very much appreciated.
