(Ivar) Bolander of Summerland Key, FL, adored grandchildren, Drew Bolander, Tony (Alaina) Bolander, Eric (Deyalin Madrigal) Bolander, Alexa Ammossow and great grandson, Auren Bolander.

Phyllis was born in Stockton, CA on February 13, 1936. She attended Moreland Notre Dame Catholic School in Watsonville, CA, where she met the love of her life, Frank, at a high school dance. They were married on July 2, 1955. She began her career as a bank teller and worked for several major banks in Stockton, San Leandro and Clovis, CA.  In 1973, Phyllis & Frank purchased Lafferty & Smith Colonial Chapel in Santa Rosa, CA. where they honorably served their community until their retirement in 2005. She was a devout Catholic and belonged to many charitable organizations. She was an avid reader, enjoyed traveling, going to the beach, playing board games/cards, loving her animals, and most of all, attending her grandchildrens' performances and sporting events.

Throughout her life, she reveled in the work that brought her the most joy and fulfillment; that of being a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her warmth, generosity, and love for people was endearing. Her precious memory will live in our hearts forever.

Our family is extremely grateful for the excellent care she received at Serenity Board & Care and the loving way they treated her.

A private family crypt side service was held at Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Donations in her memory may be made to your favorite charity.
