Maria de Lima - Maria de Lima passed away surrounded by her loving family on March 25, 2007. Loving wife of the late Elias de Lima. Devoted mother of Manuel de Lima, Miguel de Lima, Jorge de Lima, Francesca Melogno, Joaquin de Lima, and the late Bernadette Reposo, and Antonio S. de Lima and step-mother of Antonio de Lima and Simao de Lima. Dear mother-in-law of Fernande de Lima, Madelena de Lima, Rosa de Lima, Teresa de Lima, Carlo Melogno, Carmen de Lima, Angela de Lima, Eugenia de Lima and the late Antonio Reposo. Beloved grandmother of 18 and great grandmother of 20. She is survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews in Canada, the Azores and scattered throughout California.

Born and reared in the San Jorge Island she came to the United States in 1977 after living in Angola, North Africa for 11 years. A member of the Lusitania Band of the North Bay, St. James Catholic Church, Santo Christo of Petaluma and the Petaluma Holy Ghost Society. She was a very generous and loving person and will be greatly missed by her family and loving friends.
