Leonard Allen Ascoop

Leonard Allen Ascoop (69), gained his wings Monday April 29th, 2024. Leonard was born November 14th, 1954 in Santa Rosa, Ca to the late Irene and Joseph Ascoop. Leonard grew up in Santa Rosa in his Beachwood Ave. family home with his brothers Dennis(late) and Ken Ascoop and graduated from Santa Rosa High School in 1973. Leonard was the beloved high school sweetheart, husband and best friend to his wife of 42 years Patty Ascoop. Proud father to son Brian and wife Jessica Ascoop, daughter Kelly Eames and husband Daniel Eames. Loving Papa to five grandchildren Austin, Haley, Madison, Gracie and McKenzie. Brother in law to Barbara Krebs and Audrey Baker. Leonard proudly had an over 30 year career with Waste Management garbage company in Santa Rosa. He enjoyed his many collections, attending concerts with his wife, reminiscing about the good ole days and spending time with the family and friends he loved dearly. Leonard "Hippie”, as he was known to many friends, will be greatly missed. A Celebration of life date will be determined.
