Khalil Ghazzagh, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and dedicated public servant, passed away peacefully in Santa Rosa, California. Born in Iran, Khalil lived a life filled with purpose, love, and service to others.
For 18 years, Khalil worked diligently at the American consulate in Isfahan, Iran, as a valued member of the U.S. State Department. After his tenure at the consulate, he served as the personnel director for the Isfahan Regional Power Company, where his leadership and commitment to his colleagues were highly regarded.
As a devout Christian living in Iran, Khalil's faith was an integral part of his life. In 1984, he and his wife made the decision to move to Santa Rosa, California, where they found a welcoming community that they grew to love deeply. The friendly people and stunning natural beauty of Sonoma County captured Khalil's heart, and he often expressed his gratitude for the life he built there.
In his later years, Khalil dedicated his time to volunteering at the Windsor Senior Center, where his kindness and generosity touched the lives of many. He was known for his unwavering belief in the power of love and made it his mission to share this message with everyone he encountered.
Khalil is survived by his loving wife, Malek, his sons, Farzad and Kashy, and his adoring grandchildren, Cameron, Jasmine, and Arianna. His legacy of love, service, and devotion to his family and community will forever be remembered and cherished by those who knew him.
