Katherine Ann (Mercer) Barron

Katherine "Kathy" Barron, aged 74, of Santa Rosa, California, passed
away on September 20, 2024, surrounded by love. Kathy was a devoted
mother, grandmother, and friend to many. Those who knew her often
spoke of her kindness, warmth, and generosity. Her radiant spirit and
compassionate heart left an indelible mark on everyone she
encountered, and she will be deeply missed by all.

Born on September 15, 1950, in Memphis, Tennessee. She lived a life
filled with passion and purpose, dedicating many years to hard work to
provide for her two children, Don Barron and Michelle Solley. If asked
what her true calling was, Kathy would say it was being the best
grandmother she could be to her beloved grandchildren.

Her love of music and singing brought joy to those around her, and her
boundless compassion made her truly one of a kind. Kathy is survived
by her two loving children and her cherished grandchildren: Angelina
Barron, Vanessa Barron, Ashley Barron, Savannah Solley, Hailey Solley,
and Donald Barron. Her family was the center of her world, and she was
known for making everyone who came into her life feel like family—a
gift of hers that made her irreplaceable.

 Kathy passed away following an unexpected battle with complications
from a medical procedure. Known for her strength and adoring soul,
these qualities showed even in her final days. She fought with grace,
as she always had. Her passing leaves a profound void in the hearts of
all who knew and loved her. A celebration of Kathy’s life will be held
at a future date, with details to be announced. Her love and legacy
will forever live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough
to know her.
