John Strong - Longtime resident of Novato, passed away March 16, 2007 in San Rafael. Husband of the late Evelyn Strong. Father of Lynn Riddell and her husband James. Grandfather of Brad Riddell and Seth Riddell.
Age: 88 years.
A Native of: San Francisco, CA.
John was a 3rd generation San Franciscan, and a graduate of St. James High School. During WWII, he enlisted into the US Navy Lighter Than Air Service and proudly served his country. John worked as a lithographer in San Francisco for 30 years and also worked as a manager for the National Park Service, Morgan Horse Farm in Point Reyes National Seashore.
The Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, March 23, 2007 at the Nazareth House. Attendance is by invitation only. Memorial contributions may be made to the Marin Humane Society, 171 Bel Marin Keys Blvd, Novato, CA 94949 or the Nazareth House, 245 Nova Albion Way, San Rafael, CA 94903. Family assisted by PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, Petaluma, CA.
