It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jeffery Brian Mercer who died peacefully on May 20, 2007 following a prolonged illness. He was born on October 12, 1968 in Dover, OH. He will be missed. He will always be remembered for his wit, engaging sense of humor, kindness, and his devotion to friends and family. He is survived by his beloved uncle, Gary Mercer, his mother, Florence Pongrat, his father, Richard, his grandmother, Beatrice, his brothers, Richard and Michael, and his sisters, Ruth and Mary, all from Dover, Ohio.
He will be missed and lovingly remembered by his friends Randy, John, Kevin, Tracy, Charlie, Ken, and his beloved dog, Kayla.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, June 7, 2007 at 11:00 am at the Church of the Incarnation in Santa Rosa, CA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Center for HIV Prevention & Care, 499 Humboldt St., Santa Rosa, CA 95404.
