Frank “Roscoe” Robinson
11/6/1943- 2/5/25
Roscoe was born in Springfield Missouri to parents Martha Irene and Claude Woodrow Robinson. The family moved to St. Louis Missouri where Roscoe and his 2 older brothers went to school. Roscoe was a star quarterback in high school, and a natural athlete. He married his college sweetheart Rebecca and soon after they moved to Arizona where their baby daughter was born.
Roscoe was a skilled carpenter, saxophone player, and lover of geography, science, and linguistics. He was an avid reader; his favorite book was the dictionary and his favorite word was “boogie”. He loved to dance, was a master of puns, and always had the quickest wit in the room. His penmanship was unmatched, and he wrote excellent letters.
He inspired all that he met with his incredible positivity, generosity, kindness, strong work ethic, and mind blowing resilience and endurance. Roscoe was famous for his very long bike rides and runs. He seemed to have mastered mind over matter and continually surprised everyone with his athleticism. He was an angel on this Earth, and now is an angel in the sky.
Roscoe is survived by his beloved daughter Lucky Jamison, grandchildren Jules and Titan Jamison, son-in-law Jasper Jamison, brother Terry (Sandpoint Idaho) and his spunky one-eyed cat Jupiter. He was preceded in death by his parents and older brother Rogers. A celebration of life is being planned for a later date…at Ragel Ranch, where Roscoe often visited on his bicycle.
