Eleanor R. Morgado - Passed away May 31, 2007 in Petaluma. Devoted wife of the late Manuel Morgado. Cherished mother of Manuel Morgado, Jr. (June) of Sacramento, Margaret Ronsheimer (Larry) of Petaluma, and the late Miguel Morgado. Adored grandmother of Christina Morgado of Sacramento, Matthew Morgado (Sheri) of El Dorado Hills, and Shelby Ronsheimer of Petaluma. Loving great-grandmother of Brooke Morgado.
Age: 79 years.
A Member of: Petaluma Holy Ghost Society, of which she was treasurer, IDES, IDESI, North Bay Dairy Womenâ??s Assoc., Santo Cristo Society, St. Vincentâ??s Church, & St. James Church, and many other Portuguese societies.
Eleanor was born, reared and educated in San Rafael. She married Manuel in 1946 in Reno. Eleanor enjoyed working on the dairy and Petaluma Poultry, from which she retired in the mid-1970s. She was an avid bingo and pedro player, as well as baseball fan.
Friends and family are invited to meet at the PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma, CA after 11:00 AM, Tuesday, June 5, 2007 thence to St. Vincent de Paul Church, 35 Liberty St., Petaluma, where at 11:30 AM a Funeral Mass will be celebrated. A Visitation will be held Monday, June 4, 2007 from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Mortuary with a Vigil Service at 7:00 PM at St. Vincentâ??s Church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Diabetes Assoc., 1451 Guerneville Rd. St. 200, Santa Rosa, CA 95403 or the American Heart Assoc., 1400 N. Dutton Ave., Santa Rosa, CA 95402. Interment: Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Petaluma.
