Edith E. Grossi - Passed away at home in Petaluma, CA, March 26, 2007, beloved wife of the late Domingo S. Grossi. Loving mother of Richard Grossi and his wife, Jackie of Inverness and Laura West of Rohnert Park. Adored grandmother of Debra McKillop, James Monte, Shirley Patton, Deane Turner, Larry West, Joyce Arndt and Stacy Silva. Great grandmother of 15 and great great grandmother of 6. Sister of the late Aldo Poma.
A native of Santa Rosa, CA. Age 93 years.
Edith was the daughter of a pioneer poultry ranching family in Santa Rosa, where she was reared and educated. After her marriage, she worked with her husband, Domingo on their dairy in Inverness until retirement in 1971. The couple moved to Petaluma following retirement, and Edith continued to enjoy gardening and most of all, her family.
Visitation will be held Thursday, March 29, 2007 from 11:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. at PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, Magnolia Ave. and Keokuk St., Petaluma. Family and friends are also invited to attend the Funeral Mass, Friday, March 30, 2007 at 10:00 A.M. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Olema, CA. Entombment will follow at Olema Cemetery. The family prefers memorials be made to Hospice of Petaluma, 416 Payran St., Petaluma, CA 94952.
