Dwight was a good man who had suffered various challenging traumas in his early and last years. He will be remembered for his love of music, years of vigorous bicycling including in France, his willingness to help others, his humor, and his suffering through prostate cancer and depression. Dwight is survived by two families: his family of origin includes his three sisters, Sandra, Elizabeth and Catherine, his nephew and nieces, great nephew twins and two great nieces, all in Portland, Oregon; his second family of AA over four decades provided love and support through good years and tough times. Others in the Sebastopol area were also an important part of Dwight’s network. His ashes will be spread over Bodega Bay where he loved to go for sea air and peaceful respites. There will be a memorial service in Sebastopol.
