Dorothy Wader

Dorothy Wader - Dorothy Helen Wader passed away at her home in Petaluma on April 22, 2007. Devoted wife of 60 years to the late Herbert Wader. Cherished mother of Richard James Wader and Patricia Montano. Loving grandmother of 9, great-grandmother of 16 and great-great grandmother of 4. Preceded in death by 2 brothers and 6 sisters. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Wader was employed by Pacific Bell as a long distance operator in San Francisco for over 20 years. She was a woman of independence, living on her own until the day she passed away. She received her driver's license at the age of 60 and drove until she was 97 years old. Mrs. Wader was an avid sports fan and was especially fond of the San Francisco Giants and the Golden State Warriors. She loved her weekly movie and lunch with her granddaughter. She was 97 years of age.

Friends and family are invited to attend a Funeral Liturgy on Saturday, April 28, 2007 at 12:30 P.M. at the PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, 850 Keokuk Street, Petaluma, CA. A visitation will be held on Friday, April 27, 2007 from 11:00 A.M. until 8:00 P.M. with a Vigil Service at 7:00 P.M. at the mortuary. The family prefers memorial contributions be made to St. James Catholic Church, 125 Sonoma Mountain Parkway, Petaluma, CA 94954. Interment at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Petaluma, CA.
