Daniel’s residences included a railroad box car in Blue Island, his family home in Morelia, Michoacan Mexico, his home in Calumet Park, Illinois where he raised his children alongside his beloved wife, and his cherished home in Santa Rosa, California where he gathered regularly with family, friends and neighbors who will remember his laughter and zest for life. He leaves a legacy of hard work, justice, family unity, generosity, and community service that will live on through his children and generations to come.  He was the example of hard work and determination having dedicated 42 years to ACME Steel as a steel mill worker. He served his community as the President of Latin Americans For America in Calumet Park and as an active parent volunteer at Eisenhower High School in Blue Island.
