Cora Chase Obituary
Cora Chase - Born Sioux City, IA March 3, 1912. Passed away January 5, 2007 in Petaluma. Devoted wife of the late Michael Chase. Cherished mother of Jim Granger and his wife Pamela of Petaluma. Adored grandmother of Kelly Granger of Pleasanton and Darcy Granger of San Diego.
When Kelly and Darcy no longer required her daily attention she worked as a crossing guard and also provided day care for other children in two parts of the state. She was called Grandma Cora by all and known for her blue eyes, rosy cheeks and bright smile. We were all enriched by sharing her time, her grace and her loyalty.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association of the Redwood Empire, 115 Talbot Ave., Santa Rosa, CA 95404.
Cora was meant to be a â??Grandmaâ?
