Carole Lee (Freitas) Cann

Carole Lee Cann (Freitas), age 87, of Santa Rosa passed away peacefully on July 9th 2025 surrounded by family.

Carole was born April 19th 1938 in Redding California. She was raised by her loving grandmother “Mommie Rose.” She wed Gary Cann January 31st 1959. After living in many different cities in California throughout her youth, she settled in Santa Rosa with her husband in 1962 to raise their family.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gary Cann. She is survived by her three children: Trevor Cann, Lisa Cann, and Michael Cann; Her seven grandchildren: Nicholas Cann, Alexandra Baker, Summer Groh, Tanner Horcasitas, Kathryn Cann, Charli Cann, Jagger Cann; and her two great grandchildren, Bailey Baker, and Jack Groh.

She enjoyed the simple pleasures in life - a hot cup of coffee in the morning with her morning newspaper, tending to her flowers in the garden and spending time with her family. She will always be remembered for her witty sense of humor and her endless loving support. May she rest in peace.
