Carmela "Millie" Scangarello - Passed away March 17, 2007 in Petaluma. Beloved daughter of the late Mary Ann and Thomas Scangarello. Cherished sister of Victoria Scangarello of Petaluma, Joseph Scangarello of San Anselmo, Victor Scangarello of Clifton, NJ and Frank Scangarello of Passaic, NJ. Survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Millie was born and reared in Passaic, NJ. Upon moving to Petaluma in 1948, she worked at Woolworthâ??s for 12 years as well as the bowling alley and Uncle Edâ??s Toy Store. She owned and operated Millieâ??s Chili Bar on Petaluma Blvd. for over 20 years, serving the best chili in town. Millie was known for her sweetness and charm, making friends wherever she went.
At her request, no services will be held. Age: 87 years.
