Bernard "Ben" Krahne - Died at his home in Forestville on December 28, 2006 at the age of 76.
Survived by his loving wife of 55 years Jeanne. Beloved father of Benjie Krahne, Darcel Krahne, & the late Laura Krahne. Cherished grandfather of Jaime Krahne and Dara Peloquin and her husband Russ who lovingly took care of Ben during his 2 year illness. Dearest brother of John Krahne, Jerry Krahne, Peter Krahne, Myrtle Hulquist, and Leanna Brown.
Family and friends are invited to a Funeral Service on Wednesday, January 3, 2007 at 2:00 pm at PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY, 301 S. Main St., Sebastopol, CA, 829-5433. In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations can be made to Memorial Hospice, 821 Mendocino Avenue, Santa Rosa, CA 95401. Ben worked for 40 years as a carpet contractor after his service in the Army. He had many passions including sports, visiting with family and friends, flying planes, reading, and his beloved pet â??Skippyâ?
