STEFENONI, MABEL GRACE – Entered into rest, July 5, 2010 in Santa Rosa, CA. Dearly beloved wife of the late Peter J. Stefenoni. Loving sister of Ann Mary Beach-Burow, Alyce Rose Tarpley-Lindstrom, William W. Pisenti and Allen R. Pisenti, all of Santa Rosa, CA and Eugene L. Pisenti of Redding, CA. Also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A native of Pleasanton, CA, age 96 years. Mabel is preceded in death by her brothers and sisters; Joseph J. Pisenti, Emilia Pisenti, Walter Pisenti, Eva Mane, Alfred Pisenti, Ralph Pisenti, Welta Pisenti and Wallace Pisenti. Mabel was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church, the Italian Cultural Foundation, the Bennett Valley Grange and past member of the Ladies Druids. During her Santa Rosa High School years, Mabel played baseball in the Santa Rosa City night baseball league as a catcher. She later started working as a checker at the Safeway Store on 7th and Mendocino Avenue. She worked for many years with her late husband, Pete, at the Stefenoni Garage as Co-owner. Each day, she took Pete his lunch, then did office work, ran errands, and delivered parts and cars. Mabel has always enjoyed bowling, fishing, gambling, and Bingo... as well as having Christmas Eve at her home since the 1940’s.

Family and friends are invited to meet at 9:00 A.M. on Friday, July 9, 2010 at the LAFFERTY & SMITH COLONIAL CHAPEL (4321 Sonoma Highway, Santa Rosa, CA, 95409) thence to St. Rose Catholic Church (398-10th Street, Santa Rosa, CA, 95401), where a Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. Entombment will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery (2930 Bennett Valley Road, Santa Rosa, CA, 95404). LAFFERTY & SMITH COLONIAL CHAPEL will provide visitation hours from 11:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, July 8, 2010, where at & 7:00 P.M. a Vigil Service will commence in the main chapel. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions in Mabels’ memory may be made to the charity of choice.
