FERRARI, ERNEST FREDERICK Jr. – Entered into rest at home in Santa Rosa, CA on May 13, 2010. Dearly beloved fifty-six year husband of Christine A. Ferrari of Santa Rosa, CA. Loving father of Ernest F. (Meryl) Ferrari, III of Millbrae, CA, Karen A. (Davis Northnagel) Hansen-Northnagel of San Carlos, CA and Teresa L. (Scott) Ferrari-Lewis of Sebastopol, CA. Adored grandfather of ten. Cherished great grandfather of five. A native of San Francisco, CA, age 77 years. Ernest is a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served as a Seabee during the Korean Conflict. His memberships included the Santa Rosa Golf & Country Club, the Free & Accepted Mason’s-Columbia Brotherhood Lodge #370, The San Francisco Scottish Rite, Asiya Shriner’s (having served as Past Potentate in 2004), the Royal Order of Jesters, Past President of the Swedish American Patriotic League and Past Director of the Asiya Shrine Clowns. Ernest has resided in the Sonoma county community for the past thirteen years. |
Family and friends are invited to attend a “Celebration of Ernest’s Life” at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at the Green Hills Golf & Country Club (End of Ludeman Lane, Millbrae, CA). Private inurnment. As an expression of sympathy, the family suggests memorial contributions in Ernest’s name be made to the Bonnie J. Addario Lung Cancer Fund (601-4th Street; Suite #215, San Francisco, CA, 94107), the Shriner’s Hospital for Crippled Children (2425 Stockton Street, Sacramento, CA, 95817) –or- the Sveadal Memorial Fund (123 Bloomfield Road, Burlingame, CA, 94010).
