Passed away peacefully at home following a short illness on Tuesday, May 11, 2010, in Santa Rosa. Beloved husband of Kaye Henderson (Whittington), loving stepfather of Jim McVicker and Rick Whittington (Kumiko), and adoring grandfather of Kai Whittington. A Southern California native, age 75, he moved to Sonoma County in the 1980’s with his predeceased wife, Jane McVicker Henderson. He will be greatly missed by his Church family at the Church of Christ in Rincon Valley. He served as this year’s Big Sir for S.I.R.S. Branch #76 until his illness. The highlight of his week was Monday when he played golf with his fellow SIRS at Bennett Valley Golf Course.

Friends are invited to attend a Service, Saturday, May 15, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at LAFFERTY & SMITH COLONIAL CHAPEL, 4321 Sonoma Highway, Santa Rosa, CA with Ed’s family and friends. Private interment. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heartland Hospice Memorial Fund, 2455 Bennett Valley Rd., Suite B214, Santa Rosa, CA 95404.
